Serving our Community
Granite Hill Church is proudly following Jesus’ example of serving by serving Hallowell and surrounding communities.
Back to School BBQ
Granite Hill was proud to sponsor the Hall-Dale Elementary School (HEDS) back to school BBQ by both donating food and providing our parents from HDES to set-up, serve food, and clean up. This was a huge success with over 400 in attendance to start off the school year with a bang.
Clothes for Kids in Need
Granite Hill Church attendees collected clothes, hats and mittens for four different elementary schools to help families who could not afford to provide these for their children.
Extras for Educators
Extra’s for Educators is a local mission organized by Sara Frautten, a teacher at Hall-Dale. In honor of supporting the great work that educators give to our children, it is nice to give back to them. Teachers and school personnel often spend a large amount of money out of their own pockets for supplies for their classrooms. School budgets are tight and money allotted for classroom materials have been decreasing over the past several years. To help educators in the Hall-Dale Elementary School , during the summer months, supplies are collected and donated to the teachers before the beginning of the school year.
Feeding the Hungry
Families within Granite Hill Church who are struggling financially are given food or other assistance to help them in their time of need. Our youth also serve at Bread of Life Food Pantry to help the hungry.
Each year Granite Hill Church offers Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class to those who want to learn to be debt free. This 9 week course covers everything from the debt snowball, to saving an emergency fund, giving, and investing. For info on our next course, please email Kayla at email@example.com.
Our youth organized, wrapped, and hand delivered the following for surrounding school districts:
- 21 Thanksgiving Food Baskets
- 24 Christmas Food baskets
- Gifts for 27 families in need at Christmas
- Food to go home with 21 HDES school families over Thanksgiving break to provide necessary nutrients while kids were not in school

Old Hallowell Day BBQ
Granite Hill Church proudly participates in the Old Hallowell Day Parade and invites everyone for free hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and chips…serving hundreds each year.
Granite Hill proudly supported community youth basketball and baseball this year. In addition, we partnered with Bulldog Strong Basketball camp directed by our very own Ryan and Jamie Madore. Representatives of Granite Hill hosted an anti-bullying basketball event with Granite Hill’s Jason “White Shadow” Gibbons showing his incredible basketball drills skills. Many members of Granite Hill Church coach various sports throughout our entire area, sharing the love of Jesus with each child throughout every season.
Granite Hill Church and its members support various other community organizations and programs such as rape response and prevention and help for pregnant women.
Supporting our State
